"Yeah, a couple of days ago at the Hongjing Grand Hotel, Third Young Master Leng brought you there. Have you forgotten?" Gu Chengjue was doing it on purpose, to let Wei Anning know that Leng Youchen had already met him, but kept it from her.
Leng Youchen glided over in his wheelchair, holding one slipper in his hand. Hearing Gu Chengjue's provocation, a flash of coldness swept through his eyes, "Darling, how could you not notice that you've lost a shoe?"
Wei Anning looked down and just then realized she had indeed blown through a slipper. She playfully stuck out her tongue, "I was so excited that I didn't even notice the shoe slipping off."
"Come here!" Leng Youchen reached out his hand to her, feeling a pang of pain in his eyes as he saw the two still embracing.
