there was another reason that Lucas didn't like Gared as he worked with Drew but his memories were erased but Lucas only pretended he knew nothing
"I would like to have this mission not counted as failure but as an error"

"I'm called green code for a reason I'm the good one here Andrew is red code because of his defuse and Karz is black code because he's up in the air so I know what I'm doing is the greater good so activate system override"

system: "are you sure host? if you do this your memories really will be gone and you won't remember any of this-"
"rewrite those memories make them fit into place no need of this ordeal needs to be remembered just the important factors everything that happened after Lucia woke shall be erased and I'll have no memory of it or anything about the system or the allegiance I worked for"
system: "So, you're going rouge host? may I ask your reasoning?"
"For lucy- she deserves better- she will need us"
system: us? who this us you speak of?
"well I do not trust gared or andrew for that matter I believe they can help her even if they fail and if they do make an back door as an fail safe so that they can go back and fix it"

wait- if that happens won't I fall for Gared?!
System: and what's so bad if you did? it wouldn't be the first time Luci~
"luci? I'm not luci I'm lucas-"
system: "You are a part of both of them lucifer and Lucia and they both loved Gared or know as Garci back then but lucifer had learned form Lucia that Garci was not what she seemed and as such her true nature was revealed and she had set to destroy his life but she didn't prepare for the two loose ends being Lucia and Victor"
"if Lucia is a part of me then how come there's an physical version of her?
and who is victor?"
System: that's not important what is is your mission and once you meet Gared you'll know what to do
"Does gared have any memory of me?-"
System: he knows your name and what you look like but he has no clue of your shared history- he knows of the connection you and luci share but he doesn't know you were once one as of yet-"
"So if me and luci and lucifer are all separate now- then what happens?"
System: "well that means you all live peacefully but lucifer isn't exactly free yet he's still an part of luci but she will release him on her own and once that happens you are free to live with Edward forever but if you so choose you can also can go on missions but with Gared and his kin and lucy's that won't Excatly be needed
"So- then who will take my place?-"
System: Drew you already put gared as the fail safe so who else who take that place? Sebastian is attached to Victoria and Karz
And Eric and Logan- well they're no longer needed so that's it- are you prepared for your last mission? Will you save the princess? Or will she be lost to time?

"I know- and I'm alright with that as long as I can still have your friendship-" she replied

Lucas smiled kissing her forehead and they embraced once again
"So are we still friends?" she asked
"Always" he replied
"I feel like you're the best friend I'll ever have" she replied

"So-um- I know that may be hard but- I think you should talk with Edward, he cares a lot about you- so please don't take it for granted because you will end up regretting it" she replied

"Alright then I'll see you when you get back" she replied
