Chapter 94 - Chapter 94

She opened her eyes after feeling a tug and saw that it was Andrew. "We're here." He said softly. She looked outside and saw that it was bright outside.

She felt completely refreshed and shortly after, they left the airport but it wasn't in a Rolls-Royce Cullman but rather a Hennessy Venom. It was Andrew who drove her while Khan had to go back to the company and manage its operations.

As they drove leisurely, he didn't take her straight home but rather, they went to the mall. "Why are we here?" She asked. "I thought you liked shopping." He said as he got out of the car. She followed and went inside.

This unlike the one he had got to earlier with Ashley was much grander as it was situated deeper into the city and he had no rush. She was hesitant to buy anything at first but soon enough, she felt comfortable and bought what she saw pleasant.

'Ashley would have killed me by now.' He thought as he knew that Ashley on the other hand would have had him carrying mountains of bags right now but he wanted her to feel comfortable around her so he went along with her pace.

Soon enough, she came across an expensive looking dress. "Can we buy that as well?" She asked. "Sure thing." He said dismissively making it apparent to her that he didn't mind what she bought.

Soon enough, she was content as they left the mall and went on a tour around the city. The breathtaking sights and views while dining at the best that there was to offer. She took photos with the phone he had gifted her which was perfect and as the day was about to come to a close, he took her home.

She felt excited and couldn't recall the last time she felt so happy but she was gloomy that it all had to end. She realized that when he wasn't so ruthless, he was actually very sweet and considerate underneath.

As he brought the monster of a car to a halt outside her flat where she lived, she seemed reluctant to leave his company. Him, being a gentleman helped her carry her bags out to her room which was on the fifth floor.

"I could arrange for you and your brother to move to a better house, somewhere more calm and relaxed." He said as they went up the flight of stairs. Some people were ogling at the car parked outside however he didn't care.

As they arrived at their room, she knocked on it before opening it to which her friends instantly locked onto her and gave her endless hugs. She welcomed him inside and the room reminded him of his home. He smiled as he put down the bags.

"Wait! Are those Versailles?" Linda asked in shock. The brand was known to be for the high end of society to which Yvette took pride in. "Yes." She beamed a smile taking pride as if she was the one who bought it.

Linda looked at her with surprise in her eyes as she examined clothes. "And the best part is that it's yours." Yvette said as she smiled back at her. "There are gifts for all of you here." She said as she gave everyone a bag.

Screams of excitement rang through the air as they were all content with their choices before they calmed down. With a single glance, they could tell that it wasn't cheap, to which they were all grateful for that. They knew that it wasn't her but him who bought them all but still they thanked her.

"What is all this commotion about?" A faint voice came from the bedroom. "Desmond!" Yvette screamed as she hugged her brother to the point of death. He had been bedridden for months but seeing him stand brought a year to her eye. She could barely contain her joy.

"You're back from Russia." Desmond asked with disinterest. He wasn't that happy when he heard that she would leave and so abruptly but now she was back. "Yes and it was breathtaking. I have pictures if you'd like to see them." She said as she brought out her phone.

The latest edition. They all recognized as they looked at Andrew who had a passive look on his face. He didn't care that much of what happened. He looked at Desmond who so looked at him. The two were locked in a death stare before Yvette broke the moment.

"Brother, you don't have to be so displeased with Andrew. He clearly cares about me so you don't have to be so stubborn." It was apparent that Desmond didn't have a great outlook on Andrew. "My name is Andrew." He said with a smile as he stretched out his hand.

"My name is Desmond." He said as without reciprocating the handshake. Andrew was forced to withdraw it as he smiled. "I would like to stay but I have other matters to attend to." He said as he walked out of the door.

He wasn't irritated that Desmond didn't reciprocate but rather dismissed it. He couldn't be bothered with something so trivial. They all saw him walk out of the door before closing it right after.

"You seriously couldn't hold back your attitude. Why do you have to be so difficult?" Yvette burst out. "Me? Don't you see that he is clearly using you?" Desmond shot back. To him, someone who was privileged as Andrew, it didn't make sense why he would pay so much attention to her sister.

It wasn't that he viewed her as average or displeasing, she was the finest lady on the planet in his eye and the one who would court her would be a lucky guy but for a rich person to take interest in a person who was of a different social class seemed off.

It was clear that he was using her by blinding her with gifts for a quick dump only for him to leave her behind. "I understand your worry Desmond, but you raging at your sister isn't the way to deal with this." Hugh said.

Even he found it quite skeptical about this whole situation. "Well I don't care of what you think of Andrew." Yvette said as she left the room heading towards her own.

She couldn't piece it together why his brother couldn't understand how she was trying to help her. She understood why he did so but he was being too difficult to work with. 'It's so as to help us but he doesn't see that.'

Of course she knew about his deal but so far, he had been quite caring and treating her with respect which wasn't something she had anticipated but she appreciated it and thanked him for. So far, she knew that she wasn't wrong but her brother so she wouldn't care what they thought of Andrew.

...

Andrew took a deep breath as he saw below that someone was trying to jack his car. 'Are you serious? But might as well.' He jumped off the railing and landing perfectly unharmed onto the lot.

"May I help you?" He asked as he looked at the two hooligans who were trying to pick the door lock. They turned around and looked at him. "Scram kid!" One for them said as they resumed their actions.

"You're the one who drove in this car from earlier, right?" The other said making the first to halt his actions. It was expected that they wanted to "relieve" him of this car. Its worth was outstandingly high. "Yes and to avoid any trouble, I would advise you to get away from it and let me leave." He said calmly.

"What are you going to do, threaten me with your lawyer?" One of them joked. They were both adorned in vests which portrayed their muscles and wearing beige cargo shorts. They walked closer to him with teasing smiles.

"Well since you're still in my peripheral vision, I take it that you chose violence." He said as he dug into his pockets and seemed to retrieve a gun by his gestures. They took brandished their own from their shorts and pointed it at him.

"Two against one. What are you going to do?" One of them threatened. Andrew retrieved...

Nothing, but he positioned his fingers to look like a gun. "Hahaha!!" The two laughed thinking that he would have a gun on him. "Just hand over the keys and we'll possibly leave you be." They started to laugh but he didn't have the patience for this.

*Bang*

*Splat*

One of the two heads exploded instantly.

*Thud*

His corpse fell onto the ground as his blood splattered all over the lot and some onto his comrade. He instantly halted his laughter and looked warily at Andrew. 'He's a gifted?!' He thought.

'But outnumbering him should still work." His expression hardened as he shouted. People who were dressed in a similar fashion seemed to appear out of some of the rooms from the flats and come over at the lot.

They had to be around twenty people overall. "You may be gifted but that won't help you with numbers." The guy from earlier joked.

...

"Yvette! It would seem that Andrew is in trouble!" Linda said as she walked outside. Almost everyone heard that call which meant that the Vasos, a local illicit gang had made its appearance and looking at their target, it was one person.

Almost everyone was watching this whole scene play out. Yvette was forced to come or of her room and see what was so attention grabbing to everyone. She saw that a lot of people had come outside to see what the trouble is about.

She then saw Andrew surrounded by the Vasos and cursed in her heart. She knew that this couldn't pose a threat to him but rather his identity could be exposed. "I've already called the cops but we know how long that will take." Hugh said in dismay.

Knowing how incompetent the police were, it was clear that it would take them a while to get here. In an hour or two. Andrew simply brandished a black glove which he put on his right hand. His patience was out the window.

*Bang*

He started to make gun like motions with his hands and surprisingly, it would seem that it actually worked. Those around him were shocked as they didn't hesitate to fire.

The sound of gunfire filled the atmosphere but Andrew seemed perfectly unharmed. Seeing that this wasn't enough, he made an assault rifle like motions as his invisible bullets seemed to mow those around him.

Any bullets fired his way would somehow fall right at his feet while he went on a mass murder as the lit was slowly filling with blood. His opponents were riddled with holes all over their bodies regardless of how much they struggled.

Even if they hid behind cover, the outcome was the same as the cover would be penetrated by his "bullets" killing everyone on sight. His face didn't seem affected by his actions, he was actually irritated by this because he had somewhere else to go.

...

The smell of gunpowder and blood filled the air making it nauseating to breathe but he seemed unaffected by it. The lot was filled with immobile corpses, blood and miscellaneous weapons lying all over while he seemed perfectly unbothered.

Some were recording this and no doubt it would catch the attention of unwanted people. After he was done, he looked at the guy from earlier, he was filled with fear as he struggled to crawl away from him.

Andrew grabbed a pistol casually lying around with his skill.

*Bang*

This sound reverberated couple of times as its target bled on every joint that he had. The elbows and knees alike rendering him immobile. He walked slowly to him as crouched to his level. He saw the genuine fear in his eyes to which he relished.

"Please beg you to stop! I apologize for my acts but please spa-" Andrew then pointed the gun and stuffed it in the guy's mouth, preventing him from talking. The pity was evident in his eyes but compassion was something that came rare to him.

*Bang*

The guy fell lifelessly to the ground as Andrew stood up. He removed his glove as in was covered in blood and threw it on the lot. He dug into his pocket, removed his keys.

He looked at the flat which numerous people had seen and filmed him of his actions. They were extremely perturbed by this as they couldn't fathom that he would be so unruly.

He gave a small smile before hoping in his car, before darting off from the scene as his car disturbed the deadly silence of the calm atmosphere.

All of Yvette's friends and brother looked at her grimly. They had seen a person who minutes ago was happily handing them gifts to a person who killed roughly twenty people right after.

"Yvette, is he the Telekinetic Terror?" Anita's voice rang making the body extremely stiff.
