Chapter 125 - Chapter 125

As Orsen kept on explaining the various methods, her expression grew into that of admiration and shock as she saw the various methods of going about it. Orsen knew that it would be overwhelming for her thus he went according to her pace of learning.

They spent the entire day learning about potions as she gained experience but there was still more to learn. She had learnt how to make the recovery potions at the basic level and she knew that it would take some time for her to learn the advanced complexities.

*Ashley's POV*

She woke up like usual in a grand palace with servants crawling all over the place. Ever since she got here, life has been easy for her with her not dealing with no worries whatsoever. She spruced herself up before making her way to the ballroom which was a feast for the eyes.

"I hope you woke up well." A voice emanated from the bottom of the stairs. It was the lord of the house who had offered her such a haven for her.

She owned a vast majority of the shares at the docks not to mention she had several connections across the world in the ecosystem of trade.

She had a charismatic and gentle appearance whilst maintaining a professional look around her. Her name was Sevyn, a tier four on the third array. Ashely decided to lend her a helping hand with her trade as she proposed numerous profitable ideas that greatly helped her amass her fortune.

She reciprocated her success by lending Ashley a hand with her own agendas. "The royal court of Sablestone has demanded your presence." She said as the two walked towards a carriage. Ashley realized that she was in Sablestone, one of the few kingdoms located near a water body.

Of course with her presence, she would attract numerous kinds of attention and one of them was Sevyn. She grew interested in the boat that she had used in traversing the ocean and bought it at a reasonable price of 100 platinum quartz.

Ashley then proceeded to give her other kinds of models for ships ranging from fishing sectors to tourism and exploration.

It didn't take long before the two arrived at their destination. A staggering monument such that of a court house was present in front of the two. From looks alone, it seemed to scream a fortune not to mention the place was heavily guarded. The guards had a minimum of tier three as they diligently carried out their duties.

They made their way through and a huge court of people came in their line of sight. At the middle of the room, there was an old man in his fifties. His very presence demanded attention which dimmed the presence of the rest in the room which seemed very ancient and profound. The first tier six Ashley had come across.

Sevyn made a slight bow while Ashley remained standing. "Do you have the slightest idea who you are in front of? The king of Sablestone and yet you dare to not kneel? Who do you think you are?" A voice laced with contempt and malice rang out.

Looking at the source, it was some stuck up noble who was a measly tier four on the first array. Ashley seemed unfazed by the voice as she raised her hand and made a slight motion with her hand and…

A soft plop was heard before an exclamation rang out through the hall. "She killed a tier four noble with just one hand?" A voice said which grew concern.

The people present grew wary of her. At first, they knew nothing about her and researching her background proved difficult as there were no traces of her existence, as if she appeared out of thin air.

And now she had just killed a tier four noble with a wave of her hand. Not even the king could accomplish such a feat. "We are not here to cause a war." The king spoke as he tried to appease Ashley. He had tried to discern her tier but a force prevented her from doing so, proving that she was stronger than him.

"I am not here for a negotiation either." Ashely said as she looked at the king who was slightly nervous of the glare caste at him. He could feel the murderous intent that immediately filled the castle resulting in a suffocating atmosphere.

The pressure spread throughout the entire kingdom as well covering it with no problem.

Not even a tier six could accomplish this feat which was reserved fort the higher tier meaning that she was a tier seven. A tier six could cover the entire castle or even bigger but to cover an entire kingdom was out of their reach.

Seeing the smirk on her face, it was clear that she wasn't taking this seriously meaning that she held back. Tired of witnessing everyone crawl on the ground, she withdrew her aura back and masses of people struggled to get back on their feet.

Sevyn remained unaffected but even she was shocked with Ashley's showcase of power. The entire hall fell silent with all eyes resting on Ashley.

She raised her arm and pointed it at the king. "As a king, you should bear the responsibility of the failures of your subjects." She finished off before firing a small streak of light towards him.

It wasn't anything out of the ordinary, just a casual streak of red light. The king set up several barriers that could withstand the attack of a tier seven but the attack easily pierced through his defenses and upon contact with his body, his head blew clean off his body and his heart exploded which splattered all over the floor.

Everyone was horrified at the sight wondering what Ashley was. They knew that confronting her in a battle was stupid and a sure way of dying so they chose to yield. "Sevyn, I'm sure you'll make a fine queen." She said with her eyes landing back to Sevyn who was too engrossed with what had happened.

"What? Me?" She quizzed. "Yes you, or are you rejecting my offer?" She taunted trying to scare her. "Absolutely not." She exclaimed. "Good. I suggest that you need to make the proper requirement for it, a tier seven I presume."

*Snap*

Snapping her fingers, a radiant white light engulfed Sevyn's presence which landed her the attention in the hall.

Complex runes manifested themselves as she went through her transformation and after it was done, her presence became more dominant. 'She's tier seven?!' Numerous thoughts rang through the hall making people wonder exactly what Ashley was.

Not even a tier seven was capable of such a feat and here she had done it in a matter of merely snapping her fingers. Sevyn was astounded the most with her increase in tiers.

She had put in more effort in her business thus didn't have enough time to focus on her cultivation and here was, a tier seven in the span of seconds from a tier four.

'Is she a goddess?' Sevyn thought. The idea became more and more likely with what Ashley had done. There was no way a regular mortal could accomplish such reality defying feats with the snap of her fingers.

With her feats, no one dared to breathe too loudly in her presence. "I shall make sure that I fulfill my duties to the best of my capabilities." Sevyn said as she made a slight bow. She had earlier thought that Ashley was extremely powerful but now, her expectations were greatly exceeded.

A couple of days later, the kingdom was at an upheaval wondering why the king had been replaced but after a while, their unrest faded into silence after realizing who had replaced him. A tier seven was hard to come by and once achieved, it was considered the pinnacle of cultivation. Once a person would achieve this, they were considered to be invincible and have extremely few competitors.

Sevyn on the first array was still grateful of the present that she had received. To think that she would have it easy in gaining both power and status overnight was a dream for her and yet it was the reality that she lived in.

She would receive assistance from Ashley in terms of military development as she made much more advanced technology such as aircrafts, vassal artillery and ground tactics altogether in form of knowledge. She would carry all of this out on her own as she had the resources to do so.

The kingdom underwent massive improvements seemingly overnight as their rate of development was through the roof.

Before, they were considered a casual kingdom in the process of development but now, they could be considered a powerful player in the game of the world however they maintained the façade of their original status.

It had been two months after Sevyn became the queen of Sablestone and so far, everything had been great for her. She had the backing of a goddess, a great kingdom which flourished and was ready for anything that the outside world would throw at her and had the ranking of a Tier seven which was considered a myth for most.

She made her way towards Ashley's residence which was in the back at the mansion. She had tried to convince her to move into the castle but she refused stating that it was too formal for a setting for her to stay in.

So she felt that it was necessary to make it better compared to what it was earlier. Making it grander and much more luxurious than before. She found Ashley seated as she was observing the kingdom below her. She made a respectful bow as Ashley gave her way to take a seat. Rarely had Ashley ever taken the initiative to call her.

The two sat as they took in the view of the world below them. "I have elsewhere to go. There is someone special I'm looking for." Sevyn was taken aback by her words. She knew that she couldn't stop her in the slightest thus she might as well give her a helping hand in her travels.

"I'll arrange a coach for you along with the necessities. I hope that you find whoever you are looking for." She wished her good luck on her travels. For her, Ashley was the best thing to ever happen to her.

Some speculated that Ashley was the ruler who governed the kingdom and Sevyn was merely for appearance purposes but the truth was Ashley never involved herself with politics.

Ashley cast a protective barrier on Sevyn which she failed to notice. "Here, consider this a gift from me." Ashley said as she brought out a Broadsword Claymore. Its hilt had a fiery red whilst its blade was a dull black glow to it. There was a dazzling jewel glowing at its hilt to which made it all the more intriguing.

Sevyn tried to decipher what metal it was constituted of but she failed to crack it. Nonetheless, she accepted the gift. "Thank you Ashley. Consider this kingdom as yours."

She had tried to call her other praising names but Ashley would reprimand her for that thus she took with how she had addressed her ever since the two had met.

As for modesty, she refrained from doing so. And with that, Sevyn proceeded to escort Ashley personally. As she saw Sablestone slowly shrink in size, Ashley had admitted that she did have a form of attachment with Sevyn that she hadn't felt in a while. Not as a friend but rather as a servant and Sevyn could feel it from time to time but she couldn't complain about it in the slightest.

Sevyn saw the carriage slowly get smaller before returning to her duties. She had a firm grip on authority which grew by the day. As for the technological advancements, she did these projects out of the public eye with only a few individuals having knowledge of such.

However the smaller day to day quirks were privileged by the people of Sablestone.
