Chapter 133 - Chapter 133

*Two months ago*

"Wha- Where am I?" A kid seemingly in his early twenties quizzes as he looked at the world around him. The last thing he could vaguely remember was his death.

A kid, similar to his age known as a national threat killed him. His name being Andrew, his murderer. Different kinds of emotions welled inside of him. Anger, fear and a feel of helplessness.

At the time, he couldn't do anything and merely watch the events unfold. He was bedridden at the time, the scene of that monster killing his sister was still fresh in his mind.

But right now, the world around him was something he hadn't anticipated. Right now, he was on a bed, lavish and well decorated.

'Wait!' A sudden thought crept into his mind as he thought. Looking down, his legs were covered with sheets of blankets and it was now that he realized something, there was someone else in the bed with him.

Perplexed, he shot out if the bed but the blankets restricted his movements and fell to the floor with a painstakingly thud.

He clutched his head as the lady woke up due to the commotion.

"Julian, what's wrong?" She quizzed as she saw his figure rapidly walk away from her. "Who are you?" Julian asked in shock as he looked at the lady in the bed. She was a stunning beauty no doubt with her body barely clothed, the only thing preventing him from fully seeing her body were the sheets.

"What do you mean 'who am I?' Don't you remember, it's me, Ava? We met at a brothel and you heavily insisted on coming back to your place." Julian was lost in the dark when he heard this. But he quickly calmed himself down.

"I'm so sorry. My head is still a little clouded from last night." He tried to play it off as Ava got out of the bed. Her body in its immaculate glory was fully prostrated towards him as she put on her clothes. "You're certainly funny, Sir Julian Caldwell."

She said as finished putting her clothes back on. "Maybe we will talk later. Please excuse me." She said as she made a small bow and leaving the room. Julian collapsed on the bed as he tried to deduce as to what was going on.

'Seeing how she treated me, it would seem that I have a high position. I wonder where?' The memories of the person whose body he was in were seemingly removed and he hadn't had the slightest clue of where he was.

He too took a bath and changed his clothes which were all lavish and grand. "It would seem that I am a noble." He murmured as he made his way out of his room. The mansion was massive, deserving of a noble.

'But this body is too young to be of a proper noble.' He thought as he made his way. "Sir Julian, your father is waiting for you in the grand hall." A voice spoke to him. Looking at the source, it was a butler who seemed to be in his late forties.

Julian could sense a faint tint of power liger around him. "Thank you." He said respectfully but he quickly realized a problem. "Uh, if this wouldn't trouble you so much, could you perhaps lead me to the grand hall?"

The butler seemed shocked by his request but nonetheless, he carried his duty responsibly. "Very well master Julian, follow me." The butler said with respect in his tone as he led Julian to the grand hall.

'Wait, does this mean that my sister has travelled along with me or not?' He thought as he admired the tapestry and designs of the place. He was met with a large mirror which looked stunning and finally, he could look at his own reflection of the body that he was in.

It was now that he realized something, the butler and the Ava had something in common along with him. All three along with everyone present had pointed ears. They were all stunning in terms of beauty in their own way but the body that he was in had extremely handsome features.

Sharp golden eyes, faded golden hair and a charismatic attitude around him. He was quite glad that he had such an appealing appearance. In his previous life, with him been bed ridden, he couldn't do much to focus on his features.

He had grown jealous of those who were blessed with good looks, cursing at them and at the heavens wondering why he was in such a position. But now, he too was dazzling as those portrayed on magazines and TV shows.

They continued walking and the butler opened a door to a magnificent room. The place was littered with what he could have assumed were servants. At the middle of the room, there were two people seated with somewhat passive expressions as if anticipating for something.

The butler went to the side and Julian tense of the atmosphere, he sat took a seat at the table. Her facials were dazzling to ensnare any man who would so much as glance in her direction and he too could feel her charms. Her golden hair fell to her waist whilst she had a calm aura around her.

She was dressed in a blue azure dress while the male seated next to her at the far end of the table had sharp features, blue eyes and short black hair which was laid back. His eyes landed on Julia the moment he got in the room and he could feel it.

In front of Julian, numerous meals were displayed, each tantalizing to the eyes promising a meal that one wouldn't forget coupled with the aroma. Julian could barely hold himself back but as of now, he restrained himself.

'Is that my father?' He thought as he felt his gaze. The air around him felt cold and sharp, almost causing a suffocating atmosphere. "Where is your sister?" The man spoke sharply. He then turned to the butler that had escorted Julian here.

"Alaric, can you fetch Vivienne?" He said passively as he dug into his meal. "Very well master Thalion." The butler spoke before his figure seemed to disappear from the hall. Seeing that the mood had now died down from the icy temperament, Julian took a bite of his food.

He was stunned with how good it was before taking another bite. "It seems that you like it." The lady said with a soft smile on her face. She had never seen his son eat food this passionately, always having no remark for it.

"It's really good." Julian said softly as he paused from eating. 'At least I know my father's name but what about my mother's? I should have asked earlier!' Julian regretted as he looked at his meal.

"What? Is it not good?" Thalion asked as he picked up that Julian had paused from eating. "No, it's not that. It's just that-"

Before he could come up with a proper excuse, the doors opened once again and the three pairs of eyes landed on the new figure that had made her presence in the grand hall. She had a chocolate dark skin which was outstanding considering that both parents had white skin pigment.

Her eyes had an abysmal tint of black, her hair was deep, rich and bountiful in black and a mature and poise atmosphere hang around her. As if she knew every single move that she would make.

Regardless of this, she made her way to the table and sat opposite of Julian. The two locked eyes and for a brief second, it was as if they knew each other but it didn't last long before she took her seat.

"I thought that you two weren't planning on waking up." The lady said jokingly. "I'd never fail to impress my parents." She said calmly before taking a bite of her food. Internally, she was stunned of how well the meal was but unlike Julian, her façade was well orchestrated and planned.

"I hope you two are ready for the tournament, I heard that Lirael Frost bloom and Isindil Star whisper will be participating." Thalion said as he dug into his meal. The atmosphere only tensed up as more time passed.

'What competition? If only I had this guy's memories, then this situation would have been much better than it is right now.' Julian thought as he dug into his meal. "Are you okay?" Nalindra, Julian's mother spoke up.

Judging from how Julian was behaving, it wasn't that hard to tell that something was wrong about him. He seemed too absorbed in his own world as he took too long in between each bite, his mind was preoccupied with something.

"What? Oh, I was just thinking about something else." Julian brushed it off. "You should focus on the match ahead of you if you want to succeed." Thalion finished off before leaving. Servants came up and picked his plate and shortly after, so did Nalarinda.

Alone in the halls now the two dropped their act as they looked at each other. The hall had now servants that roamed around as they carried out their tasks but most of them had left giving ample space for the two to talk.

"Yvette?" Julian inquired as he felt some familiarity with her. "Yes?" She said with a bit of uncertainty. "Desmond? She asked back to which he nodded fervently. The two hugged each other as tears ran across their cheeks.

The last thing that she remembered was Andrew brutally killing her brother before he proceeded to kill her as well. To her surprise, when she opened her eyes, she found herself trapped in the body of this lady. Weirdly for her unlike Julian, she recalled the memories of what had transcended before.

"Where are we?" Julian asked in fear. "It would seem that we are in another world." "What?" Julian remarked. "Don't you recall the memories of the body that you are in" Vivienne asked as they broke from their teary communion.

"I don't. It feels as if those memories don't exist in my mind." Vivienne was baffled as to why he couldn't recall but she could. "Regardless, we have to keep off living as if we are their son and daughter until we fully grasp the world around us."

Julian nodded. It would prove difficult to play as their son if he couldn't recall what had happened. Even they would have found out that something was off. "We have to get ready for the match. But luckily, we won't be starting as there will be others that will go ahead of us."

Vivienne said as they made their way towards their carriage. As they watched the world around them pass by them, they fell into awe as it was worlds different compared to their world. However Vivienne wasn't all that entranced by the world as a problem presented itself.

She could clearly remember what Vivienne had done but Julian couldn't. Meaning that he had no fighting capabilities nor skills at his disposal. The difference between him and a newly born child was that he could talk and walk, nothing more.

"How are we to cover this?" Julian asked. The choice to concede every match wasn't ideal as it would without a doubt be a hit to the reputation of the Caldwell family meaning that he had to fight.

Also another problem was present. Recalling her memories, Vivienne reminisced that Julian had a lot of enemies due to his choice of fighting. He was ruthless and callous, he didn't care whether his opponents lived or died, provided he won, he didn't care about the means.

This was another headache for them to solve but she too had to crack the world around them with her memories. She fell into a passive state as she dug into her own memories however something ominous gnawed in her heart.

She remembered Andrew's words very clearly. 'We'll meet again.' She recalled. 'Is that the reason as to why I can remember while my brother can't?' She thought as she kept on exploring the memories locked in her mind.
