I grit at his stubbornness and haul him up my shoulder. When his stomach presses on my shoulder, he lets out a groan. I certainly know that his stomach hurts, but I have to get him to Sergio's place, or he is going to die. He needs to get proper medical attention,
I begin to walk, trying as hard as I can to not jostle him around. He winces and moans in pain most of the way. His skin is hot and clammy. He suddenly goes limp and my anxiety spikes. "Arlo?" I growl. "Arlo?" He doesn't respond. "Shit. Fuck."
I winded with worry and wrecked the rest of the way to Sergio's place. He is out front with Sasha. I'm so relieved to see Miles, I could cry. I trust that he will help me in as much as he can't stand Arlo. At least, he will do it for me.
Sergio gives me a curt nod and I respond the same way. I can not bring myself to say anything considering the way I am distracted. The only I can think about now is how we are going to get Arlo to the hospital.
