The two days passed quickly, and on the second day of the New Year, after lunch, He Nan prepared to take them back. Old Master He was clearly reluctant to see them go but dismissively waved his hand and said, "You guys go back! Don't come to see this old man anytime soon; you little rascals have worn me out these past few days."
At those words, everyone laughed, knowing that no one had enjoyed the last few days more than Old Master He had.
