Stepping out of the transport portal, Malin was not surprised to see the guards in front of him as he strode towards the entrance of the Royal Palace.
Eleven and Seventeen hadn't activated their optical camouflage, their appearance inevitably caused a disturbance, but the half-human messenger who came to find him kicked several cowards in the shin shouting, "You cowards, you are completely useless! Lord Malin is here to see His Majesty, what are you blocking the entrance for?"
It seemed the guards had received the order, they eventually stepped aside, and Malin walked into the great gates of the Royal Palace with Eleven and Seventeen.
Speaking of which, Malin had previously sent Eleven to find Seventeen, only to discover that he had lost an arm in the last battle. Without hesitation, Seventeen followed Eleven back to the Seafloor Base, where after replacing his machine body, the two Machine Souls joined the previous clean-up operation.
