Another week went by, and there was his last check up around the corner. Brandon was excited because his plaster was finally coming off, and he would not need his crutch anymore. That meant the possibility of going back to the office was also on the table.
He took a half day of work. Since his appointment was after two, it didn't make sense why Brandon should have asked for an entire day off.
There was a short email that you sent to Megan, telling her that he was finally taking off and heading towards the hospital for his appointment. After receiving confirmation for her, Brandon left to get ready.
He changed from a formal attire to a semi formal one, one that was more appropriate to stand and wait around in a hospital.
Sofia knocked and entered his room. "I just wanted to check in on you. Would you like to have your lunch now after coming back?"
