After another few minutes of walking they reached a space with over twenty different tunnels, each with a door headed ant blocking it's entrance.
If it was another insect invasion they would have probably tried to open each and every tunnels to find the queen and probably give up after being fruitless before opening all of them. yet the puppet master didn't even look at them for less than a split second before he look at at below them at the ground below their feets, was a solid ground no difference from the other areas but with a single move from him—
His tentacles moved and the ground started shaking, not long after a hole was opened. The seemingly solid ground was the head of a larger and more sturdier door headed ant's head.
Afterwards the ants entered before the ground closed back up again, after entering inside the ant was surprised to find the inside glowing in greenish light. The space inside was larger than any of the rooms he had seen, second only to the ancestral nest.
Large Piller of earth were were standing around in the space, each almost as big as the Queen's bed's tower. This pillers number around twenty to thirty in numbers.
But the most shock thing was... The false queens, they were many and verily so. With the help of his soul gaze he could quickly count them all fifty eight false queens, each standing at different areas. Yet they were still more surprises, at the center of the room was a large body of water, well large from an ant's point of view.
This water was glowing green and was the source of the light, surrounding this 'lake' were ant egg's two to three times larger than the eggs of soldier size ants.
'this life signature, this mental wave type. Those are false queen egg' he look in awe.
Suddenly he looked at a certain corner and he saw the queen drinking from the lake water yet after a few sips she stopped and produces a hissing sound.
'did she just hiss?' he was baffled.
Yet at the next moment he saw something unusual happening, the false queens start carrying corpses of queen ants, hornets, bees, termite queens and even a large door head ant queen and throwing them in the lake.
The queen looks at this quietly. afterwards, she walk to another one of the larger pillars and started hissing loudly, suddenly two pair of false queens came down carrying leaf pieces.
Afterwards the arranged it like some sort of mat and she lay on it. And became quit, then she started shaking violently and after half a minute of vibrating violently. She laid another large egg, and her abdomen quickly deflated.
Yet a unique looking ant came forward. This ant was in simple words a honeypots but instead of honey Its was filled the green glowing liquid from the lake, it's body was also uniquely shaped as it hard legs as long as a daddy long legs looking slender yet being able to carry its massive body with it's large abdomen filled with the liquid. Some part of its body was also armor with strong exoskeleton.
This spider like honeypot came forward and feed the queen some of the liquid.
And very quickly she absorbed, her condition started looking better.
Not long after her abdomen swelled back up again and returned to normal.
she calm down and lay down again.
It seems she had fallen asleep.
'this is simply too interesting, is this some sort of ritual? Who would have thought ants were capable of something this complex and that liquid,what exactly is it?I don't know yet But one thing is for certain, that lake has something to do with the false queens creation and the queens weird mutation'
'ill have to stay longer and study this deeper,who knows this might be what could help me with my diminishing lifespan' he thought
Afterwards for the next three days he would do nothing but watch their behavior and the changes, study more about how to use and control his mental power, make his puppets sacrifice themselves for his meals and study more about how to use his soul puppeteering ability.
During that time he had many good harvest.
One being him witnessing two different egg hatch and from one a large false queen and the other a door head. Which surprised him as it was the queen that birthed those guarding doorheads.
Next would be that he could now reduce the amount of liquified thought he uses when blasting yet could somehow concentrate it more to do a single point concentrated damage.
Another harvest was his witnessing as all the material throw in by the false queen melted into the lake, leaving nothing behind and that truly amazed him.
Another thing is that he could see a certain type of unique energy particles very abundant in this room. This particle has ability to heal somehow when gathered by a medium e.g his thoughts power yet he could only guest as one out of twenty times did he manage to control it slightly.
Last but most appreciated was his gaining of a new ability in his soul study.
When he was manipulating and play..ehem, I mean experiment with the mind of the puppets he suddenly had an idea, instead of breaking or purifying why not try to dig into it? Although it had normally caused an explosive reaction in living normal ants,it was just a simple exercise to waste time.
He had broken down a single tentacle piece as much as he possibly can. Dividing them into a hundred or more slim almost invincibly slim parts. Afterwards he sent them into the targets mind as stated spreading them in all possible directions.
One has to know the mind is a vast place, even if for ants.
After over two hours of constantly wasting time on such a pointless and fruitless thing, he had finally seen light when he found a space filled with images, scents, and sounds.
All were in scattered form as though a messy room.
Afterwards he had used up all his remaining puppet subordinate to Practice this new ability. Because it was just that good.
