Eleanor nodded. "Yes, Everett arrived just in time. Naturally, no one dared warn her. She took advantage of you to hype herself up. Of course… what's even more infuriating is that she hinted at an improper relationship between you and Isaiah."
Aurora exhaled sharply, feeling a heavy weight in her chest. "There are really too many awful people in this industry. Was Savannah this arrogant before?"
Eleanor chuckled lightly. "Didn't you notice? She's always been good at suppressing newcomers, and her methods are sharp. She's done so many things, and no one has been able to take her down, so you can tell how cunning she is."
Aurora fell silent. She pulled out her phone, which was almost out of battery, and quietly sent the recording of her conversation with Isaiah to Eleanor.
