This kind of ostentatious celebration is definitely a one-time thing.

Doing it once is just to annoy people. Repeating it a second or third time would be Uchiha digging their own grave.

"By the way, there's another matter. I'd like your opinion."

While eating, Tsunade extended her hand toward Shizune.

Shizune, startled for a moment, quickly set down her chopsticks and handed over a scroll she had been carrying.

What's this?

The scroll bore the mark of Kumogakure. At first glance, Kazuki assumed it was intercepted intelligence.

However, he quickly dismissed that thought. Intelligence scrolls are always sealed with security measures—without the correct password, they self-destruct.

This scroll, despite bearing Kumogakure's insignia, had no seal.

"Well, this is interesting!"

After taking a brief look at the scroll, Kazuki couldn't help but remark.

"Is Kumogakure showing off, or is there something else behind this?"

"We're not entirely sure about other motives yet, but showing off is definitely part of it. On paper, Kumogakure's military strength far surpasses Konoha's right now—that much we have to admit."

"So I suggest you handle this personally. By the way, Uchiha Shisui hasn't taken the village's Jonin exam, has he?"

Who could have guessed that Kumogakure would propose something as unusual as a joint Jonin examination?

Other villages hold Chunin exams; Kumogakure decided to skip straight to a Jonin-level test.

Kumogakure's Motivations?

Kazuki began pondering who among Kumogakure's newer generation would be participating.

To lead such an event, Kumogakure would need to showcase their strength. The purpose was clear. demonstrate their military might to other villages.

However, they couldn't afford to send weak participants, as that would risk humiliation.

Among their younger talents, there was Nii Yugito, the Two-Tails Jinchuriki.

But it was unlikely they'd send someone like Killer Bee, an already established force, just to flaunt their prowess.

Kazuki's expression turned odd as he looked back at Tsunade.

"Wouldn't this be too much of a one-sided display?"

"Hmph!"

Tsunade slammed her hand on the table in frustration.

"Kumogakure is coming into this intending to bully us! Can't you see that?"

Kazuki raised an eyebrow. Did she misunderstand?

"What I mean is, wouldn't sending Shisui and me to the Jonin exam be too much for the others?"

"…"

Tsunade tilted her head, confused.

Kazuki rubbed his forehead in exasperation.

"Has the Third Hokage shared Shisui's full file with you? The confidential details, I mean."

Although she wasn't slow to catch on, Tsunade quickly realized there was classified information she hadn't been briefed on.

"You mean Shisui's strength is far greater than what's on record?"

"Exactly."

Kazuki spread his hands and explained.

"For example, if a typical Uchiha Jonin could handle two or three equally skilled opponents, Shisui could probably take down an entire squad."

Tsunade blinked, stunned.

"Are you kidding me?"

Kazuki elaborated.

"Shisui's Mangekyo Sharingan ability, Kotoamatsukami, allows him to infiltrate someone's mind undetected, alter their will, and even control them. The Third Hokage and Danzo both knew about this because Shisui, in his naivety, trusted them and revealed his abilities."

"That's also why Danzo always wanted to target Shisui."

Tsunade couldn't help but criticize Shisui. "Revealing something so dangerous? He was just asking for trouble!"

Konoha had no rule requiring shinobi to disclose all their abilities. Unless someone was truly out of their mind, they wouldn't expose such critical secrets.

"Kotoamatsukami… That's an incredibly powerful ability."

Tsunade was grateful that Shisui hadn't used it irresponsibly. Otherwise, Konoha might have faced unimaginable consequences.

"In simple terms, it's arguably the strongest genjutsu. However, its side effect is significant—it can only be used once every ten years."

Tsunade leaned back, her voice firm.

"Regardless of all that, I want you to crush Kumogakure in that exam. They're the ones shoving their face forward—so slap it hard. Let them know that even if Konoha's military strength has declined after the war, we're not to be underestimated."

"The tragedy that happened to the Hyuga clan must never happen again."

This was the fundamental difference between Tsunade and the Third Hokage.

If Tsunade had been Hokage during that time, and if Kumogakure had dared to threaten Konoha with war, she would have fought them head-on—even with Konoha in a weakened state.

Kazuki smirked.

"No problem. If they're asking for it, we'll give them a proper wake-up call. They want to be humbled? I'll make sure they get more than they bargained for."

Let the world see if the Uchiha are truly as weak as they're painted.

Kazuki felt a surge of determination.

"By the way, Shisui's power is far beyond ordinary Jonin levels. If they want to test us, let's see how they handle that."

Tsunade nodded.

"Don't let me down."
