I know Prince Allan was planning something. He wouldn't come to the borderland for nothing.
I killed his general from the last battle when we retrieved the five villages. He told me something before he died.
That's why I knew that I should start moving the pawns of my chess game against the crown prince of Altas Kingdom. I have to win this!
Flashback
I ran as fast as I could and caught his blade using my hand. It didn't reach Uncle Joseph's body.
"Arida!" I called.
I pushed him forward and didn't care about the blood dripping from my palm. Arida and Axel check his condition.
I twist my body in hundred eighty degrees and cut the carotid artery of my enemy. He falls to the ground right away.
I jumped high and saw the three arrows that almost hit me. I saw where it comes from. I throw the enemy's sword and kick its handle in the air.
That man bends backward and manages to escape the sword from stabbing his head.
