Kalix Noah's POV
I drink all the wine in my glass and groan. I feel like frustrations will kill me soon. This is all because of that crown prince! Damn him!
"How are we going to help, general?" Arida whispers.
She and Axel had joined me in drinking this brandy here in the garden.
"I am grateful that the princess was the one that saved her. If it's Prince Allan, I'm afraid she'll be our enemy," Axel remarks.
I looked at him and saw how serious his statement was. Arida sighed.
"Your majesty, I will send a letter to the borderland. I will tell them that she's here and what her situation is, but they will continue to find her. It is to fool that man's soldier," she says. Her idea isn't bad. I think it will be helpful too.
"For what reason, vice general?" Axel asks.
"If Prince Allan learned that the Escalante army was still finding the general, he would surely try to attack again. We will get back this time," Arida remarks.
