Lukas's POV
I told my mother that Lilibeth and I would visit the Esposa household.
I ask them to make a verdict to nullify my engagement with Leticia and declare that Lilibeth will be the 5th princess consort.
My mom spoke with me a day before we met Lilibeth in that restaurant. We're getting closer to Esposa's mansion. I saw how worried she was.
"Your majesty, I think you still have the time to change your mind," she whispered.
She stares at the scenery outside. There are still bruises on her face. She's been wearing long-sleeve dresses to hide the bruises on her body.
"Why would I change my mind?" I commented.
She finally faces me. "Let's be frank, Your Majesty. You love my sister. You and Prince Kalix even fought for her affection. It only happens that Prince Kalix's feelings are shallow, or should I say fake. As for you? You deeply love her. You tried your best to fix what is broken, right?"
