Axel's POV
I was checking the herbs and medicines in the royal palace's apothecary building when Elyse came. I walked faster and grabbed the tray she's holding. She lands on my body.
"I always told you not to carry too much! Why do you keep on forgetting that?!" I roared.
She looks at me and moves away. "Oh my gosh!" she reacts. I frowned. Her reaction was too fucking late. I sighed and gave her the folder.
"Are these the new herbs that I ordered from the cultivators?" I ask. She nodded. I place my arms under the tray and grab her arms.
"Why are you making a meter distance between us? I can't tell you what you should write in that folder if you're too far. I have no time to yell, Elyse," I growled.
She bows her head. I sighed and tried to control my irritation. This is the reason why I prefer doing things on my own.
"Stop growling at her if you didn't want her to be miles apart from you. You should speak softer," Arida remarked.
