All of us were just listening to their conversation. I feel like they forgot our presence, but we love listening to their conversation.
But the last statement her Aunt Bea said had stunned me. "Hey! Auntie! Why did you have to tell me that again? Gosh! This is embarrassing!" Kassandra says.
She went to the window and hid behind the curtains.
"Why would you be embarrassed with the truth, Your Grace? You were 14 years old when you told King Calixto to reserve the seventh prince for you. If I remember it right, he visited the borderland on his own because Queen Avira was still busy taking care of the third princess," she says.
Aunt Bea faced me after, looking at me meaningfully. "She says to the king that Prince Kalix Noah is the only man she wants to marry, and if he chooses another noble lady for you, she'll ruin your wedding," she continued, giving her lady master a naughty smirk.
