Kalix Noah's POV
I was waiting at the fountain on the side of the Royal Academy campus, waiting for Kassandra's arrival. Today was the first day of summer school.
"Huh? You won't be coming to Arcana East again this summer, grandson? But why?" Grandpa Chris asks. My mom was smiling.
"Dad, his girlfriend only receives her academic education during summer. That's why my son was excited to go to school during this season," Mom replied.
My grandparents look at me. "You already have a girlfriend? Who is she, hmm?" Grandma asks.
"Her name is Kassandra Escalante, Grandma. The second daughter of Uncle Guillermo and Aunt Catherine," I replied. They smiled.
"Okay. You've got an eye, grandson," Grandma says. I smiled. "I know," I proudly say.
I insisted on enrolling again even if I promised my maternal grandparents that I'll stay with them this summer. It's been another year since the last time I saw Kassandra.
