Mumbai… Middle of the Night…
Inside the City's Burial Ground…
The burial ground in Mumbai was an eerie sight—thousands of tombstones standing as silent witnesses to the gathering that unfolded under the dim moonlight.
Fifty women, dressed in pure white, their faces solemn, stood in perfect formation. Each bore a single red flower in her hair, a mark of their identity. At the center, standing poised like a goddess of judgment, was a woman in a striking red saree.
She was Anasuya, the leader of the Nishiddha Atma—the Forbidden Soul Sect.
"Sisters," Anasuya's voice carried through the cold air, firm and commanding. "The time has come."
