Atop the tallest building in the city, the wind howled with an icy chill. He never could have imagined that instead of a fancy dinner, or a visit to the usual hotel.
Risa's idea of a lovely date would be something so strange.
Two people sat on the edge while drinking a bottle of expensive wine. Nikolai closed his eyes, taking a moment to think about how he ended up in this situation.
"Are you alright, Nikolai?"
He tilted his head, slowly opening his eyes to gaze at Risa, a faint smirk on his lips. "I'm fine, Risa." He gently took her hand in his, rubbing his thumb over it.
The two sat there, looking at the night view. An entire city passed by, and neon signs flickered in the distance. The only thing lighting up their faces was the moon shining above them and illuminating Risa's pale skin.
