I froze as I caught the scent of James Ice behind me. I turned around as Darla and Max drew their weapons. I noticed the silver blue spear in Darla's hands and the blue fire that glowed from Max's revolver.
I held up a hand. "It's alright family. This is a client of mean. I think he's come to redeliver his payment for a case I did for him." I said.
James smiled at him nodding his head. There was laughter in his dark gaze. "Yes. I have to give you pay as it is well overdue." He said.
I nodded my head. "I'm guessing things have finally calmed down in your home realm and all that shit." I said.
James chuckled. "Yes. Things have calmed down greatly and all that shit. I was watching you for a bit and found this was as good a time as any to give you your pay. What is your desire. Name it." He said.
