He called the driver and after I told him our destination, he drove off smoothly. Wang Muchen was still a bit confused.
"Where are we going? You've been excited since we landed"
I hummed and kept my expression blank
"The mall"
He obviously still didn't understand why it was such a big deal
"Do you want to buy some things? Or maybe a surprise for me?"
I chuckled lightly
"You'll see. But it's not a surprise. So don't expect one."
I had to make that clear so he wouldn't be disappointed later.
The car brought us to the said mall and I excitedly dragged Wang Muchen inside while he let me do whatever.
I looked for signs of the event and walked there to see a large crowd gathered. There were chairs and most of them were filled up. We found a place to sit and I looked up.
The actors I came here for were standing on a temporary stage and talking. Wang Muchen lowered his head
"Is this what you came here for? P"
