When Suxin was riding back to Howard Castle, her mind was still buzzing with the sound of music, and she hadn't recovered from the dance yet. Over the past two years, she had attended numerous banquets, but she always sat quietly in a corner, eating slowly and waiting for Arthur to finish his business and take her home. It was her first time being in the limelight like today.
"Xinxin? Haven't calmed down yet?"
"Yeah, it feels like a dream."
"You'll get used to it. Next time, you'll perform even better than today."
"Next time?" Suxin was surprised.
"Yes, there are many such banquets every month, and I'll bring you along."
"But... I'm not used to such occasions..."
"Nobody is born suited for any situation; you'll get used to it after a few more times." Arthur said, then his face broke into a smile, "You must be tired today, have a good rest, and go to sleep early!"
