Dinner was still made according to Arthur's preference, a Western style. At both ends of the long dining table, Arthur and Suxin sat facing each other, each with a steak in front of them. Suxin ate very slowly because her mind wasn't on the dinner at all. She was thinking about White Wolf and his subordinates. Marlowe was currently leading men towards the port of Southern City, and it wouldn't be long before they reached the port.
As she thought about the bloody scene from the wedding day repeating itself, that blood-soaked ground staining her entire field of vision, suddenly, looking at the steak she was cutting on her plate, "Ugh—" Suxin quickly covered her mouth as she almost threw up.
"Xinxin, what's wrong?" Arthur continued to cut the steak on his plate, his head bowed and not looking up, but his deep voice still leaked out.
