Xiaoguai glared at Mo Siluo, then quickly dragged Wen Wan back into the house. As he was closing the door, he warned like a little adult, "Don't come looking for my mom again, or I'll call the police and have you arrested."
After forcefully shutting the door, Mo Siluo stood motionless for a long time, unable to regain his composure. When he finally snapped out of it, he punched the wall, the sound of bone colliding with the wall echoing loudly in the empty corridor. Yet, he seemed to feel no pain as he leaned against the wall, reaching into his pocket only to find that he hadn't brought his cigarettes.
Just then, a man suddenly came down from above. Due to the dim lighting, he was startled when he saw Mo Siluo.
"Got a cigarette?" Mo Siluo asked, frowning as his stomach started to cramp. He slowly opened his eyes after hearing the noise and then asked.
The man dumbly nodded, then took out a pack from his pocket, shook out a cigarette, and handed it to Mo Siluo.
