She crossed the corridor and pushed open the slightly ajar door, rushing into Li Hannian's room.
Inside the bedroom, Li Hannian was nowhere to be seen, only the butler standing by the bed, busy arranging the sheets.
Seeing her, the butler smiled.
"Sir might not return until tomorrow, I'm just helping him change the sheets."
"Oh, I thought he had returned…" Chu Nanxi's face flushed slightly, "then I won't disturb you."
Picking up Cotton Candy from the floor, she returned to her room with a blush still on her cheeks, still annoyed. As she gently tapped Cotton Candy's little nose, she murmured a complaint.
"It's all your fault, why didn't you wait for me at the door, causing me to mistake!"
Cotton Candy, not knowing what it had done wrong, stuck out its tongue and licked her palm, whimpering innocently twice.
Looking at its adorable appearance, Chu Nanxi couldn't help but laugh.
"It's not your fault, it's all my confusion!"
