Mrs. Myerson already had a preconceived notion and now their explanations were pointless, so she simply shrugged indifferently.
Tang Yao laughingly conversed in English with Mr. Myerson; the meeting between old friends was thoroughly enjoyable, and Jiang Wei was unable to interject.
Just as the conversation finally reached a pause and Jiang Wei was about to speak, the staff announced that the event was about to begin and asked everyone to be seated.
