Chapter 203 - Chapter 203: Unparalleled Strength

"Carried it over while flying? What do you mean?"

The shipwrights exchanged bewildered looks, not understanding what Bepo was saying.

"Idiots, it means picking up the Sea Train, flying it over the ocean, and then placing it onto the island. How do you not get that?"

Bepo raised both hands in a lifting motion.

"Cut the nonsense! Do you think we're fools, Navy boy?"

The shipwrights looked at Bepo like he was crazy and ignored the now-flustered polar bear. They simply rowed their boats toward the warship's entangled outer wheel.

"Alright, enough talking. Let's just fix the tracks. It looks like they're wrapped around the wheel several times. The tension might be really strong, so be careful when cutting them. If they snap loose, it'll be a nightmare to reconnect them."

"Damn it! They don't believe me! But I'm telling the truth!"

Bepo wanted to keep explaining, but no one was willing to listen.

Everyone assumed he was just making things up.

"Brigadier General, please explain to them! I'm not lying! Everyone saw it happen…"

Bepo felt wronged, his eyes almost tearing up.

"Alright, alright, it's fine if they don't believe you. No big deal."

Rorschach leaned down and patted Bepo's fluffy head, comforting him.

Iceberg's eyes flickered as he glanced once more at the Sea Train now stationed on Enies Lobby.

The way it was positioned—it didn't look like it had derailed and crashed there.

If it had flown off the tracks and smashed into the shore, it would've been in pieces.

It was impossible for it to be completely intact.

Could it be that this polar bear was actually telling the truth?

If that were the case, then this young Marine Brigadier General's strength was far beyond what they could imagine.

Iceberg carefully studied Rorschach again, and suddenly, a thought crossed his mind. He hesitated for a moment before asking in a low voice:

"Brigadier General Rorschach… Could you be the same Marine Major from six months ago who captured four pirates with bounties exceeding 100 million?"

"Heh, that's me." Rorschach didn't bother to hide it and admitted it outright.

"Hiss…" Iceberg took in a sharp breath.

He was shocked not only by Rorschach's identity but also by how quickly he had been promoted.

It was common knowledge that the higher the Marine rank, the harder it was to advance.

But this young officer had been just a Major six months ago.

How long had it been?

And now he was already a Brigadier General.

That was practically skipping an entire rank level.

"Brigadier General Rorschach, you truly are a young prodigy." Iceberg spoke with sincere admiration.

Rorschach smiled but didn't comment. Instead, his curiosity was drawn to the train tracks that the workers were struggling to untangle.

"Mr. Iceberg, I've been wondering—how do the Sea Train tracks float on the ocean? From Water 7 to Enies Lobby, that's at least dozens of miles. Those rails must weigh a ton. How do they stay afloat and support something as heavy as the Sea Train?"

"That's a question I've heard many people ask."

Iceberg pointed at the rails submerged in the sea, which remained suspended without sinking, and explained with a smile:

"Have you ever heard of Klugerwood?"

"Klugerwood? What's that?"

A question mark practically appeared over Rorschach's head.

He had genuinely never heard of it before.

"Klugerwood is a type of wood with extremely strong buoyancy. It can effortlessly support objects dozens, even hundreds of times its own weight. Pretty amazing, right?"

Iceberg continued, "In the ship-coating process used at Sabaody Archipelago, Klugerwood is an essential material."

"When a coated ship needs to rise from underwater, blocks of Klugerwood are released into the bubble coating one by one."

"The more Klugerwood released, the faster the ship ascends."

Rorschach listened intently, feeling quite astonished.

"This Klugerwood is incredible. So, these floating tracks are supported by these wood blocks? That must require an enormous amount of them."

"Not as much as you'd think."

Iceberg shook his head.

"You might not know this, but the metal components of these tracks are actually quite light. They're made of a special type of lightweight steel that has some buoyancy on its own. By forging them into hollow tubes and securing Klugerwood blocks at intervals along the bottom, we can make the entire sea-bound railway—stretching for dozens of miles—float on the water without sinking."

"Incredible. No wonder it's hailed as a miracle known across the world. Tom's craftsmanship was truly remarkable. His death is such a tragedy."

Rorschach couldn't help but sigh.

Hearing this, Iceberg's expression turned complicated. "Yes, Mr. Tom was indeed a great shipwright."

At that moment, the burly Dalston shouted in his booming voice, "Everyone, get ready! I'm about to cut the tracks! Drop the towing chains!"

From a large ship belonging to the Galley-La Company, a group of shipwrights threw down a massive chain from the deck.

A few workers rowed toward it to grab it, but before they could reach it, Palmel was already ahead of them. He swam rapidly through the water, grabbed the thick, dozens-of-meters-long chain—thicker than a man's arm—and effortlessly swam back, handing it over to Dalston. The shipwrights watching were left in awe.

"What insane strength…"

Dalston secured the iron chain around one end of the rail and turned to Barry. "Use your knots to fasten the other side of the track. Tell the guys to hold on tight—we need to minimize the track's recoil."

"Got it."

Barry responded, then pulled a large bundle of rope from his waist. His hands moved in a blur as he tied intricate knots before fastening them to the left-side rail.

The rope split into multiple strands, spreading out like a fishing net, with each shipwright grabbing hold of a section.

"Hey! Big guy! You take one too!"

Barry tossed a knotted rope toward Palmel. "You're the strongest one here. We'll be counting on you to hold the track."

"No problem." Palmel gripped the rough rope, his massive four-to-five-meter-long arms tensing with raw power, ready for action.

"Iceberg, move the boat back a bit. Stay clear in case the track recoils too hard."

Barry called out to Iceberg.

"Go ahead, I'll be fine here," Iceberg replied.

"Alright, I'm cutting it now!"

Dalston raised his massive shears, standing opposite Franky. Together, they positioned themselves on either side of the warship's propeller, where the tracks were tangled, and brought their blades down with force.

Their shears were razor-sharp, and with the leverage from their immense strength, the moment they applied pressure, a deep snapping sound rang out.

CRACK!CRACK!

The twisted, tangled track instantly snapped apart, recoiling like a spring—whipping violently to both sides like a rubber band released under tension.

In mere moments, the Galley-La Company's large ship, tethered to the track by chains, was yanked forward by the sudden force, surging across the water.

Palmel, Barry, and the other shipwrights holding the ropes had no chance to resist. The force was overwhelming, and they were instantly yanked off their feet, flung through the air toward the left side of the sea.

"This is bad! The recoil is too strong! Even the ship and Palmel can't hold it back!"

Barry shouted in alarm.

"We're screwed! This is a disaster!"

Franky yelled, trying to rush forward to grab the ropes, but he was far too slow.

At that critical moment, Rorschach moved.

Standing on a small boat, he spread his arms wide, fingers curling as if gripping invisible chains. Then, with a sudden pull—

Whoosh!

Under everyone's shocked gazes, the recoiling tracks, which had just flung both a massive ship and a giant into the air, were instantly halted in their tracks and dragged back toward the center!

CRACK!

The small boat beneath Rorschach split apart from the sheer force. Bepo let out a startled yelp as he fell into the water.

But Rorschach remained suspended in midair, his body surrounded by an invisible current of energy. Holding both sides of the recoiling track, he swiftly pulled them together.

Splash!

With his right hand, he gripped the chain connected to the right track, effortlessly pulling it back along with the massive ship.

With his left hand, he caught the rope Barry had been holding and easily reeled in the left track as well.

In less than five seconds, Rorschach had single-handedly stopped and recovered both violently recoiling tracks!

"My god… What kind of monstrous strength is this?!"

Everyone was left dumbfounded, completely lost for words.
