"Are you crazy? Why delay the ambush on their base? Wouldn't they be stronger during the blood moon ritual?" I exclaimed when I heard Uncle Ray and Lex's explanation in the meeting room.
Unbeknownst to me, Uncle Ray, Lex, and Isaiah had organized a plan to attack the bloodsuckers and take Lyla back from their hands.
I wasn't sure I agreed to the plan because, for all I knew, the night of the blood moon was the time when the bloodsuckers would bring the werewolf members they had sucked back to life.
"Lyla may have also fallen prey to them, and accepting her back is like putting a snake in our nest."
Isaiah unceremoniously grabbed me by the neck, and Lex, who was not far from me, knocked him to the floor. A fight almost broke out between the two, but Uncle Ray immediately broke it up with his alpha voice, which silenced everyone instantly.
