Zong Yunqian suddenly didn't even want to speak, finding it utterly unreasonable. How could it all be his fault, when it was clearly their extravagant desires that started everything? A mere game, consuming so much manpower, costing many lives.
"Where are you going?" Zong Yunqian suddenly stopped and, watching Zheng Nianru limping away, blurted out his question.
"Where? Naturally, I'm going back," said Zheng Nianru irritably, kicking off her remaining shoe and walking forward along the beach, holding up her skirt.
"In the dead of night, ahead is the dense forest, and this river is clearly not the Earth Spirit River. Only a fool would know to wait until daylight to leave." It was simply unreasonable.
