Delia ( POV)
I was fourteen years most of the times I stayed in doors. My mother and aunty Pelsia said I was their treasure and feared of me being hurt. My mom said I had great powers and had proved it when I was still a baby. My mother thaught me how to use my water magical powers and my aunt thaught me how to use my wind magical powers. I once heard my mom tell my aunt that I also had earth and fire magical powers. One of the reasons my mom also prevented me from going out often was because unlike the people of the East who had blonde hairs and black eyes , I had blue eyes and black hairs. This difference in hairs and eyes made me to always be seen differently wherever I went.
One day I heard my mother say there was a new girl coming to our village Laurea. In our village, the king wanted that whenever a stranger come, all the village gathers at the village square to welcome the person. The king wanted whoever comes to our village to feel at home. As usual my mom and aunty asked me to stay at home. This time, I did not obey them when they left the house, I followed them from a distance while being air. Aunty Pelsia turned to look at me I was invisible she focused back on the road with a smile which I don't know why she smiled . Being invisible and following my mother and aunty we arrived at the market square, I remained invisible as I watched the new girl being welcomed." I thought we told you to stay at home " aunt Pelsia said before going to meet the others who wre there before. I remained at a distance from where the people welcomed the new girl. From my place I felt something off from the girl but I could not point it. " There is to the devil" the new girl shouted while pointing her finger to where I stood ,those that had the air magical powers looked my way to notice me even if I was invicible . I panicked and lost control on being invisible every body in the market looked at me with hateful glares because we had different hairs and eyes. Without wasting time the new girl came up to me in fast steps, my instincts at that second told me to run. I left the market square and ran down the path which led to the woods. I knew to run fast and the girl was far from catching me that was what I thought until we reached the woods. She transformed into a lion and jumped faster in no time she jumped infront of me and roared. I focused on the air and produced a harsh wind like my aunt thought me. The wind carried the lion a little, she turned back to her human form and used her hands to produce fire and threw it at me , I produced wind to change the direction of the fire but it was enormous only part of it was deflected the other part burned my arm I concentrated and the surroundings became very cold making the fire to off and the girl to shiver. I didn't know her but she was determined to put me down. She strucked the earth with her hands as it opened coming towards me. I jumped backward just in time to not be swallowed by the earth which closed back after she removed her hands from the earth. She threw fire spears towards me non-stop and I used all my strength l to extract water from the earth to stop her fire spears while producing ice with some of the water. At that very moment I was thankful to my mother for teaching me very strictly on how to use my water magical powers. The girl made a fire arrow
with very high flames ready to aimed it at me just at that time a huge ice block I have been arranging in the air fell on her head and knocked her down. After she fell down her face became very bitter and she disappeared. It was my first time fighting so much I felt very exhausted as I returned home.
