LUELLA FROWNED as she looked around. It was a barren land. Just nothing but earth. But unlike the void, that was complete nothingness. Just air and the earth.
Another type of emptiness.
"What am I to do here?" Luella asked. Though she was the only one present, she hoped the twin dragons would hear and give her a response.
And they did.
"The first trial: The fire walk and the scorching winds…"
"You said the same thing, but you gave no instruction."
"The instruction is in the name"
"But—"
The test came without warning. A blizzard of flame broke out around Luella. Even though she was a fire user and was immune to it. The blizzard cut her roughly, that she immediately fell to her knees.
