ARAGON LIGHTLY tapped his pen on the table, his sweat trailed down his temple to his neck. He was not concentrating.
Placing his pen down, he ran his hands through his hair and sighed.
"My lady… Where are you?" He muttered. He bit down his lips, wondering what to do.
Everything was hectic and crazy. There was no way the grand duke would suddenly want to take her somewhere… The grand dukedom had not being opened since the adopted son left for war.
"So why now?" He trailed his eyes to the corner and stared at the newspaper. Grabbing it, he re-read through it.
"Don't tell me he moved because of this?"
The article was about the late duke's will. But the part that got his full attention was the condition laid out for Luella to become the duchess.
