Hecate suddenly stopped flipping through the pages and picked up the teacup on the table. As ripples formed in the tea, the figures of her apprentice Ahtal and the Flame Giant Surter appeared.
The fate of the world had reached its most critical turning point.
If Ahtal could not defeat the Flame Giant Surter, the world would be burned to ashes by him. Even if the Witch of Death and the Goddess of Life displayed strength surpassing that of the Flame Giant Surter, they would soon be adapted to and ultimately left powerless by him.
However, Ahtal's victory over the Flame Giant Surter might not be a good thing either. The influence of Ragnarok would turn her apprentice into the King of Ash, a process that could at best be delayed slightly.
