"Who?" Shark Girl Kaschte materialized a serrated greatsword out of thin air, hefting it onto her shoulder, only to hear the Doll Girl reply:
"Anfis, the world's foremost Fortune Teller."
"The world's foremost Fortune Teller was clearly... that's right, now Anfis is indeed the world's foremost Fortune Teller." Shark Girl Kaschte started to object instinctively, but then remembered that Hecate had become the Destiny Witch, one who authors fate, thus, naturally, Anfis, who divined fate, had smoothly risen to become the number one Fortune Teller.
Sometimes fate is just so wondrous. Anfis, who had originally had no hope of becoming the world's foremost Fortune Teller, had now miraculously become the first, not because her skills had improved, nor because the original number one had died.
It was purely because the original first Fortune Teller had stepped out of the realm of divining fate, thereby leading Anfis, who was second, to automatically become the foremost in divining fate.
