"Good morning!" Briar's coquettish voice rang in his ear the moment he opened his eyes.
Logan smiled dotingly as he looked at Briar, who was looking at him with so much love oozing from her.
He pulled her into his embrace and planted a kiss on her forehead as he responded, "Good morning. Did you sleep well?" his tone tinged with concern.
Briar grinned sheepishly as she blinked her eyes at him and nodded while answering, "I slept very well and you, hubby?"
Logan, upon hearing that, heaved with relief and smiled at her, "I slept well."
Briar beamed. "That's good then."
Logan chuckled lightly as he tapped her nose playfully.
"You can sleep a bit more, you know?"
Briar shook her head heavily upon hearing that and said, "Nope. I need to prepare early. I don't want to lose face today!" her tone a bit smug.
Logan was at a loss when he heard that. He looked at her speechlessly.
