Days flew by pretty fast, and before she knew it, it was Tuesday morning.
"Dear, did you get everything?" Logan asked as he looked at Briar, who was closing her suitcase.
Briar didn't look at him but answered as she zipped the bag, "Yep. I did. If anything is missing, I will just buy it later!"
Logan nodded after hearing that. Indeed, with money, you could buy anything. So, no need to worry much.
"That's good," he said as he looked around, just in case there was anything out of place.
Briar rose to her feet and clapped her hands with a smile on her face, the sparkling ring on her finger shining. It nearly blinded her eyes.
Seeing the ring, she couldn't help but be happier, recalling how she was someone who got formally proposed to.
"Are you done?" Logan's voice sounded, breaking her prideful moment.
She turned her head to look at him and suddenly opened her arms, a hint of mischief in her eyes. "Hubby, give me a hug!" she ordered coyly, without moving.
