Amphitrite turned to face her with a calm demeanour, her eyes narrowing slightly. "I helped her mother bring her into the world," she replied, her voice steady but tinged with a hint of pride. She regarded Medusa, who was now fully adorned in her turban; she could hear the snakes writhing and hissing softly inside the turban.
"With all those followers and their endless faith in you, your curse is potent enough to petrify Poseidon in some place. He may need to take quite some time to recover now," Amphitrite added, a subtle satisfaction threading through her words.
