However, the tranquil atmosphere was suddenly disrupted as three elders approached the table, uninvited and unannounced. Bernard's brow furrowed, his expression shifting to one of displeasure as he regarded the unexpected intrusion.
"Don't you see that I'm here with my family?" he said, his tone tinged with annoyance. "I'm trying to catch up with them after far too long apart."
