Hero: Time... time never waits for no one...
He looked at the Dwarf as they both kept sinking into the freezing lake, it was painfully cold, the Hero's eyes slowly getting shrouded by the freezing water.
Hero: My friend... Forgive me... In the past... you said you wish to go to Valhalla... But now...
The Hero slowly closed his eyes, under the ray of light which shone from within the cracks.
Hero: Farewell... May you find peace in the Elysium...
Slowly, he retracted his hand, and little by little, small vibrations were felt, and the atmosphere became heavier as the Hero finally let go of the Dwarf... Leaving him to rest in the depths of the frozen lake.
Somewhere in the near future, Dwarf's body will be found by the survivors. Leaving him a monument along with his friends.
Though, this will be far beyond the future, right now, Dwarf's cold body slowly fades into the depths.
The Hero opened his eyes as he watched the Dwarf get swallowed by the deep.
Hero: A proud and mighty warrior...
The Hero affectionately looked at the sinking body of the Dwarf. Bumping his fist into his chest.
Hero: Valhalla.
That was the favorite catchphrase of the Dwarf whenever he entered the battlefield. Now, it was used to mourn for him, passing away in battle.
Once again, he closed his eyes, bowing his head to show his respect all the while floating in the freezing water.
Until that scene was completely swallowed by the blurring radiant light.

Elf: Saintess...! Hold yourself together...!
Said by the Elf as he embraced the Saintess, covering her from the raging snow.
However, the Saintess didn't hear his plea. She was mentally unstable as she saw the sight of another one of her family dying right in front of her.
Human Saintess: I'm sorry... I'm sorry...
She kept repeating the same words over and over again as she held his head with both of his frost-bitten hands.
The feeling of losing someone again. The feeling of not having done anything to save that person. She continues to blame herself for having not done enough. Her translucent tears turned to crimson, the same color as what she had disdained.
Having been born into a church, giving support and prayers to the people. She was the embodiment of purity.
Over the years of war, the bloody sceneries she had seen on the battlefield were endless.
Every day, she prayed for all the suffering to end, basking herself under the moonlight in mournful prayers.
Seeing so much blood, she grew to hate it as it only entails the suffering of others. Yet, she joined the Hero's party to put a stop to this tense situation, only to suffer loss after loss.
The corruption of each governing race was what led to their downfall. If only they were united, if only they were not only after personal gains... Then, and only then would they have the chance to win the war.
Though fate was cruel, the only ones who have survived till now are those who trusted each other, leaving behind the corrupted tail.
Unfortunately, that wasn't enough, and now, they were all that was left of the many races who joined their cause.
As the Saintess was grieving under the embrace of the weeping Elf. She heard footsteps coming from a distance.
She slowly lifted her head to see what was beyond the blurring snow. There she saw, a shadow that shoulders all of their burdens under one mission.
As the person walked under the raging wind and snow, his hair was covered with frozen particles. His armor once shines into the glaring darkness, slowly fading. The surface was completely covered with a thin layer of ice.
Though, amidst all that, his posture was steady, his strides were slow yet mesmerizing.
Human Saintess: ... Hero...?
Hearing her utter the word Hero. The Elf slowly turned his head to his side, looking back to see what the Saintess had seen.
Seeing the two, he smiled briefly with a sorrowful gaze.
Hero: Elf... I'll leave her to you...
That was the very first thing he spoke about after arriving back at the location. Right after telling them what he had to say, he vanished into the cold winds, like an illusion that was only meant for them to see.
The Elf reached out his hand in confusion, seeing the last image of the Hero disappear under the veil of the raging snow.
Elf: Hero...!
The Elf tried to call out his name, only to be met with an eerie silence.
