Queen Jasmine rolled her ocean-blue eyes at Brenda, the lingering sensation from earlier refusing to fade, even after moments of distraction. It clung to her, persistent, as if whispering an inevitable truth she couldn't yet grasp.
"I just have this strange feeling," she murmured, almost to herself. "Something big is about to happen to us."
Brenda scoffed lightly, crossing her arms. "Isn't that just what everyone feels right now? With everything that's about to go down on this planet, it's hard not to be caught in the wave of dread."
Jasmine shook her head, her gaze distant. "No, this is different. It's not fear—it's something else, something... deeper. I've felt it since I was young. It always finds a way to express itself beyond my world, beyond my control." A pause, as if weighing the gravity of her words. "But this time... I think it might be a good thing."
