As the apparitions disappeared a form slipped through the sliver that was left of the closing portal. The form was ethereal and seemed like it was made of smoke.
It moved silently into a corridor and hid in the shadows observing and waiting.
Rachel smothered the fire within the dome with a quick burst of azure water. She collected the remnants of the spell and surveyed the area around them.
"Farasharns?"
"Everything seems clear here but the breach is still active. Shall we close it?"
Rachel looked at the breach and the collected slime.
"Yes, and I want some of that slime as well."
She looked around the area a moment longer then moved to the breach.
"This all seems too easy."
Farasharns smiled.
"Mistress you are a super being. Everything is too simple for you. Once you become a higher level being Everything will seem like nothing of consequence to you.
"Why do you think everything bores you?"
Farasharns paused and looked at the breach.
