Rachel's clone, Ariel, and Pasor were all standing several dozen feet away from a large dark opening within the turquoise ground.
They could see it, but they could not enter it no matter how hard they tried. So far they had tried six times. Rachel sighed.
"Seventh time is the charm."
She stepped forward and a dark, vibrant green light bloomed around her.
She had already tried forcing her way in with rainbow magic and lightning magic. She and Pasor both tried opening portals but they could tell that they were not successful openings because they could not feel a connection to the other side of the portal. They had tried teleportation first and Rachel tried to understand the connection this area had to the realm.
For the realm this was just a void area. When she sent her perception forward it simply fell away into a vast nothingness. For Ariel and Pasor it was a dense, impenetrable barrier.
