Both Rachel's main body and her clone were exhausted. For the first time that she could remember the clone had wanted to curl up within their soul well and sleep for a week.
She had come into existence many years ago when Rachel was exploring a new realm. The realm had no relation to Trannisa and it was fully sentient. Rachel had to fight for every piece of ground she explored.
She loved it.
She loved the exploration. She loved the fight. She loved the gains.
She had finally crested a high peak that had been surrounded by vicious vegetation, that fought as well as they ate, and she had a itch within her soul. It was a curious thing and she immediately secured her position and entered her soul well.
Within her soul well was a tiny spark of rainbow light and before her eyes it divided as if it were a cell and one became two, two became four, four became eight and so on.
