Shi Mei stepped outside the bar to scout the area and found that several alleyways around the bar were surrounded.
People scattered around, seemingly at random, hanging out and smoking.
But every step they took was firm.
An invisible set of rules seemed to be engraved in their very bones.
Soldiers.

It was easy to tell that they had all been trained by the same person.
Shi Mei took a quick glance before she hurried back inside.
She had no doubt that the moment she stepped out, she'd be grabbed and bound, then delivered right in front of Shi Lingyan.
And then…
What would happen was something even she couldn't anticipate.
