Although Lin Jin knew the system would grant generous rewards after the upgrade, he hadn't expected them to be this much.

His curiosity piqued, he instinctively opened his system panel.

[Grand Academy System!]

[Host: Lin Jin]

[Martial Spirit: Ruler]

[Spirit Power Cultivation: Level 47 (1%)]

[Spirit Bone: None]

[Academy: Tianxing Spirit Teacher Academy]

[Tier: Junior Spirit Teacher Academy]

[Special Skill: Eye of Exploration]

[Items: Adaptive Spirit Ring ×5, Unknown Spirit Bone ×1, Exclusive Mark of the Cultivation Room ×1, Triple Cultivation Speed Pack (30 days remaining)]

There were subtle changes in the system panel that immediately caught Lin Jin's attention.

Although his cultivation had progressed rapidly, the pace would eventually slow down without tasks or academy-level upgrade rewards.

The spirit power percentage—now showing 1%—had originally been 7%, functioning like an experience bar.

Just a few days ago, Lin Jin had pushed it up to 7% through diligent training.

However, after the overall spirit power capacity increased by six levels, the percentage went back down to 1%.

Still, what truly drew his focus were the new system rewards.

One of them was a spirit bone. Although he didn't yet know which part of the body it belonged to, he had no doubts about its authenticity.

But the most exciting reward lay elsewhere. His eyes quickly darted to the next item on the list.

[Self-Improvement Aura (Academy Exclusive)]

[Description: A unique aura generated based on the host's chosen academy motto.]

[Effect: Enhances cultivation speed based on personal effort, up to 20%. Also grants a chance to break through personal limits and surpass innate talent boundaries.]

"I'll be damned!"

Lin Jin blurted out, unable to contain his excitement.

The system was spoiling him! Was this even fair?

But the celebration didn't last long.

Realizing his outburst had drawn attention, he glanced around—and sure enough, everyone was staring at him.

"Ahem…"

He faked a cough and turned to face the more than forty children gathered on the training field.

"All of you, stand up straight. No moving. No sitting. If you can't hold out until sunset, you're free to leave on your own."

With that, Lin Jin ignored the confused looks from the parents waiting outside the gates and quickly made his way toward the office building.

After taking just two steps, he suddenly stopped and glanced back toward the group—his eyes locking on Dai Mubai, who stood awkwardly among the younger kids.

Lin Jin nearly burst into laughter. He had almost forgotten about him.

This year, Lin Jin had specifically capped enrollment age at ten.

With his tall build and mature demeanor, Dai Mubai stood out like a sore thumb in the crowd.

The poor guy was already covered in black lines, shooting helpless looks at Lin Jin.

Suppressing a chuckle, Lin Jin called out, "Mubai, you're in charge of supervising!"

Dai Mubai nodded, but after a beat, his expression shifted.

A thought struck him, and he turned to look sharply at Lin Jin's back as he walked away.

"Wait a second. Did he even ask for my name?"

Meanwhile, Lin Jin, completely oblivious to Dai Mubai's suspicion, was now seated comfortably at his desk—his eyes still able to observe the training field through the window.

A group of tiny, adorable children stood stiffly in formation, many glancing longingly at their parents outside the gate.

Dai Mubai towered among them like a fearsome tiger on patrol.

Some of the more timid kids were already on the verge of tears.

Lin Jin didn't bother hiding his grin as he leaned back in his chair, then began carefully examining the items he had received.

Aside from the spirit bone, there were a few small spheres and an unfamiliar token.

The Triple Cultivation Speed Pack was easy enough to understand—he'd played plenty of games in his past life.

Anyone who's touched a game would recognize a exp booster when they saw one.

"These spheres are the adaptive spirit rings?"

Lin Jin retrieved the items labeled Adaptive Spirit Ring from his system inventory and inspected them closely.

To his surprise, they appeared as smooth, silver-white orbs.

[Adaptive Spirit Ring (Level 40 and below)]

[Usable by all academy members—dean, tutors, trainees, etc.]

[When a spirit master's power reaches the breakthrough threshold, the ring activates automatically, generating the most compatible spirit skill.]

[The age of the spirit ring adjusts based on the user's endurance.]

"This description… feels really familiar," Lin Jin muttered, rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

A moment later, his eyes lit up.

"Wait a second—isn't this basically the God-Given Spirit Ring?"

Although the adaptive spirit ring was limited to those below level 40, its effect was clearly on par with the legendary God-Given Spirit Rings!

"Now this is a treasure!"

While it was no longer useful for him personally, it was still an incredible item.

Compared to the dangerous process of hunting spirit beasts for a compatible ring, the adaptive spirit ring was far safer—and potentially much stronger.

Even if I can't use them, I'm the dean now! I've got followers!

Okay, not that many… but still!

Lin Jin paused for a moment, pondering the safety of the rings.

Hmm… that might be something I'll need to test later.

For now, let's just see what else I've got.

With a simple thought, he summoned the item labeled Exclusive Mark of the Cultivation Room.

It appeared as a plain wooden token, etched with a minimalistic Taiji symbol.

[Exclusive Mark of the Cultivation Room]

[Designates an area of 2×2 meters.]

[Any spirit master within this space receives a 50% boost to cultivation speed.]

[Each spirit master requires 1 square meter of space.]

[Ding! Reminder: Cultivation speed bonuses can stack!]

Stackable?

Lin Jin's thoughts raced. If the Academy aura grants a 20% bonus, and the cultivation room offers 50%, then adding the Triple Speed Pack on top of that...

What the hell—370%?! That's nearly four times normal speed! Even without the pack, that's still 70% faster!

"Davis is nothing now!" Lin Jin clenched his fists, feeling an overwhelming rush of excitement.

"Just give me five years—I'll help you leave him in the dust!"

Tears of joy practically welled in his eyes.

All that talk, all the boasting—now it's finally possible!

Still… he paused for a second.

Wait. According to the original storyline, Dai Mubai could already overpower Davis in five years. So… is this even that impressive?

The thought made him hesitate. But then he shook his head.

No, no. A big part of Dai Mubai's growth came from the immortal herbs.

The Eyes of Ice and Fire… now that's something I need to get my hands on too.

"Tsk..." Lin Jin clicked his tongue.

The academy just got established and I'm already dreaming about going to the Douluo Continent's big leagues? Isn't that a bit premature?!
