Let's see what this guy's smithing skills can really do.
[Enchanted Runeblade]

Required Stats: STR - 10, PHY - 10, AGI - 6, MNA - 10
Required skills: Sword Proficiency lvl 3, Basic Mana Control lvl 3
Durability: 75/75
Damage: 30-45

Effect: Can be used as a medium to cast spells, enhancing effectiveness of most spells by 20%
Note: Countless rare materials, including goblin silver, were used in the creation of this blade, allowing it to reach similar heights to the Sword of Gryffindor.
Note: This item lacks a unique soul or inspiration. Despite the excellent craftsmanship and materials used, this is not considered a legendary item by its creator.
Note: Intended to be a large two-handed sword for goblins, it's just a standard-sized longsword in the hands of a human.
[Legacy of Fann]
World: Harry Potter / Wizarding World
Quality: Deep Blue
Type: Hammer (Forging hammer)
Required Stats: STR - 12, PHY - 12
Durability: 37/100
Damage: 15-40
Effect: Sturdy - Increased durability and decreased durability loss
Effect: Increases the effectiveness of items forged by this Hammer by up to 10%
Note: Repaired and strengthened countless times. Contains a small part of the blacksmithing legacy of the Fann clan.
"Impressive. I rather love my [Sword of Pluto], but I guess it's time to upgrade it. Looks like you used the bow as an example when crafting the sword. It's incredible but lacks any special inspiration. You fell short at the very end, not able to create something legendary yourself. Well, don't worry—I'll take good care of it," Alex says with a satisfied expression, holding the [Enchanted Runeblade]. It's a perfect fit for him and his fighting style.
Alex goes on: "As for this hammer, I'll allow it to remain intact! I will take proper care of it, though—I at least promise you that... until I find the right buyer, that is. At least something will survive and become your clan's remaining legacy. I won't end it completely."
Fannlok, enraged, angry, and frankly disrespectful of Alex, answers in a shocked voice: "You human pig, what do you mean?! You may take this hammer, but only in my hands can it earn you money. What do you mean by ending my legacy, huh? Are you really this dumb, Wizard? I have given up everything I own! You can't hurt me! You took an oath. You fool! You should have ended me when you had the chance. Now that you've decided to take everything I got, PISS OFF! I don't have anything more to lose. You filthy human should have just died in that rotten Vampire castle. I curse you!"
Alex shrugs his shoulders.
I'm not holding back anymore. If I can't even be decisive against these kinds of scumbags, I'm hopeless. Also, he'll find a way to somehow take his revenge on me in a pathetic attempt to get back his wealth. If I let him go, I'll be risking my own safety and the safety of my friends, including Jewel. This isn't a very pleasant thing, but… I guess I can make it swift for him.
Alex holds his newly acquired [Enchanted Runeblade] in his hand. As he uses Blizzard Sword lvl 4, he feels the effect being amplified by the sword. With his increased MNA, another 10% amplification, his Blizzard Sword feels stronger than ever before.
Nimbus Cloak effect activates—Increasing Evasion by 5% and Movement Speed by 40%
"YOU WOULDN'T DARE TO…" Fannlok tries to say, but Alex, in swift motions, hits him with his newly forged blade.
You have dealt 75 + 50 = 125 damage to Fannlok
You have killed Fannlok
Alex sighs, taking Fannlok's lifeless body, which he carries outside the house, and throws it into a nearby lava channel.
Now to make it seem like he went on his usual crafting trips…
Alex then cleans the house a little, makes sure everything looks like it's in order, and barricades the place before walking back to the entrance of the city. Looking at it one more time, Alex realizes what he missed the first time.
Looks can be very deceiving. This place is a damn rotten hellhole, and anything but honorable and enduring. It's probably an insult to what the goblin race once embodied. Corrupted by greed, without any honor left.
Alex waits in front of the minecart tracks, hoping for a good opportunity to hitch a ride back to Gringotts.
To his absolute delight—and unable to believe his own LUK—Alex finds Gnornuk, the exact young Gringotts employee he first encountered.
"Goblin, I need passage to the bank. Take me with you, and I'll throw you a few Galleons. Refuse and…" Alex makes a dramatic pause and stares at him, his eyes hidden under his mask.
"Of course, Gnornuk is always willing to earn an honest coin. Please take a seat, stranger," Gnornuk says as Alex sits down on the minecart, which quickly begins to speed up, driving back toward Gringotts.
Honest coin? My ass! Now, what do I do with him… let me test him.
"Heard about what happened today? The Mayor fed another batch of wizards he wanted to get rid of to the vampires. However, it seems to have backfired, and there are huge casualties. Aside from the 10 humans, quite a few goblins and vampires died."
"Really, wizard? I only heard rumors. I only care about my own profit, though, and I earned well in the last few days."
Alex raises his eyebrows under his mask: "Why? Got a windfall, goblin? Entertain me! If your story is interesting enough, I might throw in a few more Galleons."
"I got paid a thousand Galleons, wizard. Not that I'll say no to more Galleons, but I'm feeling pretty good. My vault is filling up nicely," Gnornuk gloats with a greedy smile.
"What evil act did you do, huh? Your expression disgusts me, goblin. People who murder for pure profit without consideration should not exist," Alex says in an accusing tone.
"I didn't murder anyone. I just got paid to keep my mouth shut and lie a little, it's a dirty business but my conscience is clean," Gnornuk says in an excited tone.
Fair enough… I feel he's telling the truth. Frankly, I want to get rid of him, but doing so might cause an investigation, and everyone who's interacted with him in recent days might become a target. Since he was not directly responsible and just got bribed to keep his filthy mouth shut, I guess I'll spare him. Whatever, I've learned my lesson.
The minecart arrives at Gringotts. Alex throws the greedy goblin a few Galleons and demands Floo powder and access to their fireplace.
Happy with his pay, Gnornuk leads Alex to a fireplace and hands him the Floo powder.
Alex waits until no one is nearby, steps into the fireplace, and says: "Three Broomsticks Inn, Hogsmeade."
Alex arrives at the inn and immediately walks outside without looking around. Once he is sure he isn't being followed he removes his mask and sighs in relief.
It's the middle of the night, and Alex walks toward his group's house in the dark, lost deep in thought.
Overall, I have to say this was a success! I got deceived, almost died, and just barely made it out—hopefully without my name or existence drawing much attention. I hated this trip! However… it seems my spoils couldn't be more impressive! In addition to Fannlok's belongings, I got back almost all my Galleons, my bow is restored back to its original Gold quality, and I even got a Deep Purple longsword that can replace my [Sword of Pluto]. Of course, there's also the golden chest… the first one I've ever seen! Maybe my LUK will always throw me into these situations. This is more like a twisted curse than actual good luck, though…
Alex arrives at his house, and as soon as he knocks on the door, it opens. The last thing Alex sees is a huge, shiny, purple spider jumping toward his face, 'hugging' him.
"..."
"I guess it's nice to be back, Jewel, but please get off my face!" Alex says, though happy to see his pet again, a slight annoyance creeps in as he really dislikes this kind of hug—the only remaining trace of his spider trauma.
SOULMATE IS BACK! JEWEL WAS SO WORRIED! NEVER LEAVE JEWEL ALONE AGAIN!
Alex enters the house, Jewel, of course, sitting on his head like nothing happened, happily dancing on it. As he enters the living room, Tereza, Menchi, and Rishi all nod at him, looking at Alex with a curious expression seeing his tired and exhausted face.
"What's wrong? You look like you went straight through hell," Menchi questions, slightly confused.
Tereza, hugging him, also questions him: "What did happen? You wrote that you took on a bit of mercenary work, but it's all low risk. Guess you misjudged that last part huh? Anyway, as long as you are back."
"I guess it's a damn long story…." Alex responds with a sigh.
