It took longer than I wanted to admit for Pride's words to fully penetrate my brain… mostly because I was thinking about other parts of him that could penetrate me. But the image he was crafting made me want to clench my thighs or climb him like a tree.
"You're too big for any other that," I huffed out, not knowing if I was disappointed in that fact or relieved.
However, the moment the words were out of my mouth, Pride shrunk down until he was back to Dante's size, but keeping his horns, wings… and that tail.
As if it had a mind of its own, his tail wrapped around my waist and pulled me forward until Pride's head was resting against my own. "What about now?" he whispered to me, and I could feel his longing like it was my own. "Am I too big for that now?"
Wordlessly, I shook my head, my eyes never leaving his. This was the first time that I realized that Pride had bright white eyes that sparkled with silver flecks that looked like twinkling stars in the sky.
