The first thing that registered in my broken head was the sound of my own screams… the second was the sound of various men around me.
"Don't touch me!" I scream, striking out at the hand I felt on my bare shoulder. "Don't touch me!" I cried again. But this time, it wasn't nearly as loud as my voice protested. I couldn't even stand to hear the sound of my own screams without feeling the touch of that hand.
"Please," I begged, feeling the tears falling down my face. "Please don't touch me."
"Hagatha Lucinda LaRue," growled a harsh voice in my ear. "No one is touching you, but I need you to snap out of this and come back to us."
My voice was cut off as I heard the person speaking to me. It didn't sound like the man in the cage in front of me, but how did I know it wasn't someone else in another cage? Or a guard?
