Ares shook his head, as he tried to wrap his mind around what was happening.
"You don't know what you're doing, I promise."
"I do. I'm very aware of what I'm doing. You're just in denial." She shrugged.
The action caused her chest to jump, and his eyes went to her breasts.
His breath caught against his chest, as the urge to reach out and fondle her hit him hard.
"That's my shirt," he said instead.
"I know. I wore the most expensive one too," she replied with a smug voice.
"Why did you do that?" He asked, his eyes never leaving her breasts.
"I like the poetry of it all. Your shower, your soap, your clothes, and your bed."
Ares' eyes shot up, as her raspy tone drew his attention.
"Angel—" he called in a warning tone.
"Yes Ares?" She lifted an innocent brow, pretending not to know what she was doing.
He was about to drop his pride, and give her what at this point, she was begging for, when his phone vibrated in his pockets.
